Here's part 1 of the crazy that happened on 18th of April 2010.
In a timespan of less than 3 hours I managed to perfect EoSD stage 5 and UFO stage 5 and 6. It's been around a year now since I started playing Touhou so this was quite a nice birthday present~
It's a good thing I'm extremely paranoid and record everything in EoSD practice and PC-98 or else this video might not exist.
The difference in rank here gets pretty insane.
The chance of getting walled is pretty high, therefore you have to read the entire thing pretty fast and look for openings before they close in on you. Being higher on the screen helps with this.
There are a lot random factors that play a role in this fight so you can get screwed over if your unlucky.
Oh and if you think that knife hitboxes are bullshit than just look at that dodge on "The World". :V

I know this is an old comment, but in feudal times, important people would often have maids trained in the use of weapons. Although they usually weren't *actual* maids like Sakuya is to the SDM, the fact that women weren't expected to be able to fight and the disguise would mean that anyone trying to assasinate them would get a nasty surprise when they think their target is vulnerable.

Welp. I have tons of trouble with Sakuya on Normal ;_; (Seriously, she's by far the hardest boss in the game for me, even equal to Knowledge in the Extra Stage, and I'm referring to Normal mode here. I'm only just starting to play the game on Hard / be able to beat Normal semi-regularly. Never beaten Extra.)

@alanhatedrummer EoSD is considered to be one of the harder Touhou games in the series, I've heard it compared to SA and even UFO in terms of difficulty. PCB and IN are a lot easier if you want suggestions. I still have difficulty on EoSD and I've been playing Touhou for a while, but playing the easy games help get you better.

Speaking of EoSD, maybe it's some conf I don't know of and someone might be able to help me with; but when I play it or even some other Touhou games on my boss computer at home, sometimes it feels/looks a bit weird, almost like it's not running at full frame rate? Even though it displays a constant 60fps; on the other hand, on this crap comp I'm on right now, it runs just fine... I do use v-sync patch on both, the input lag is unbearable on anything before UFO for some reason

i hardly pass stage 4 on both SA and UFO if i don't bomb spam the system starting with 2 life and the gather fragments flying through ennemy bullet , isn't for me i suck at it . but IN... always lost too many life/bomb on reisen , i hate her spell card and i end not having enough to survive kaguya/erin i always play marisa with master spark or laser option so maybe it's a little more difficult compare to reimu with hax tiny hitbox , auto aim bullet , more precision and border switch .

Sakuya's spells are pretty easy except for Marionette tho. Her 3rd nonspell would always cost me a life unless by luck. Just practice stages 1 to 4 so that you can have a good amount of lives in Sakuya's fight.

Well... been a month since my first 1cc with Reimu A... and got my first Marisa B 1cc just yesterday ^-^ I... wouldn't say "Sakuya's spells are pretty easy" even now though... ( ; -_-). Sure Sakuya's whole stage costs me way less lives now (like... 3 lives if I get too relaxed) - but even now, I have never captured Clock Corpse, and rarely capture Luna Clock (I think I've only captured that spell once or twice)... My 1ccs so far have always been thanks to my intense practice on stage 3 and 4... I still remember those times when Rainbow Sign: Rainbow Wind Chime used to kill me, and how I just gave up once Patchouli started the fire spell... I was surprised to find how easy Agni Shine, Rage Trilithon High Level, and Mercury Poison actually are (Lava Cromlech still makes me shit bricks)... And then I was surprised again when I played Marisa B and found out that Rage Trilithon is somehow harder than Rage Trilithon High Level T_T

I don't find Reisen too be horribly bad(though she's probably the hardest boss in the main story), and I play as Remi/Sakuya. And, while I use Reimu B or A in SA, in UFO I play best as Sanae B. Splash damage is a favorite of mine...
