- Author's note - The third part of the four seasons series has begun. These videos take so much to make that it never occurred to me that hey will be a season behind. We're so close to winter and autumn has two videos planned. Will I reach the second video before the snow stars to fall? Well, at least where I live. The leaves have already fallen, the rain is pouring, and the weather averages 30 - 40 degree F. But regardless of what the season is, we'll finish this four seasons series eventually leading to the big finale. As for this video, there isn't much to say. It's a basic talking heads video with the occasional switching to different frames. It sounds easy and yet it still took me some time to make, like 2 weeks. Seems on par for a mid-vid. Though most of the work was spent on those end slates with all those characters. But I had this idea of the tree growing into a giant size and having all the touhous fighting it for an epic battle. I really wanted to make that happen. Someday I'll make that Touhou Avengers project become a reality. That is all for now. If you can believe it, the way Aya introduced Shizuha was quite hard to actually get right. The TTS kept saying "Shizuha Aki" in a very somber and quiet way. I had to edit the text numerous times for it to say it more upbeat. Though I feel like Aya is saying it in a exciting game show style, it was the best I could get, and it did kind of grew on me eventually. True story.

A lot of people seem to enjoy the format, but ironically I kind of regret it now. I was having trouble figuring out how to start this video and had the idea of Aya doing a documentary style vid. But I felt like I over did it and felt like I should've started it like normal. Accidentally lowering the volume on the intro doesn't help my case either. But still, people are getting a kick out of it so in a way, it was a good idea, but I'll be returning the intro back to the beginning on the next Ability Showcase.

Well I'm glad you are enjoying the format, but as I mentioned in another comment, I actually regretted it. The Aya interview is more for the four seasons series than the Ability Showcase. Aya doesn't actually do these Showcases, especially since one of the episodes is for Stone Baby, a different series for Compact Youmu. In fact, I dare say, these videos don't even showcase anything, it's just a format to feature a specific character more than anything. This series is just all over the place. But I do enjoy experimenting with the formats so perhaps in the future, I'll try other ways to present the Abilities of other characters.

Maybe. I know for sure that Shizuha's voice is the same one as Sunny's, but modified. I tend to do that a lot with some of the voices because there's only so many voices online that I can use, so I gotta recycle. I know for sure that Aya's voice has been used at least 3 other times. Heck, I think Daiyousei's voice is the same one, but I don't have my notes with me to verify at the moment.
