- Author's Note - Another new video in the same week? Not so fast. If that is what you're asking, then perhaps it was true that the KZbin Shorts aren't being as promoted as I thought. This video was actually 5 shorts that were uploaded over the past 5 weeks. It was my initiative to keep the channel active while longer videos were being produced. Some YT shorts will just be standalone but others will be longer videos split up, so be sure to check out the shorts section every Saturday. I even changed a few things so see if you can spot the difference. Also, the song during the winning montage was copyright flagged so I had to edit it to meet KZbin's standards. That's why it warbles. But the strange thing is, 1.) I uploaded an earlier video using the same song unaltered and it didn't get copyright flagged, and 2.) I actually uploaded a separate video with just the 30 second bit of music used and it didn't get flagged. So why the heck did it get flagged here? But then again, I gave up trying to figure out the algorithm. The real reason why Sannyo Komakusa put Jo'on Yorigami in the banned list (first Tenshi Hinanawi for cheating, then Reimu Hakurei and Mike Goutokuji for some reason, then Yorihime Watatsuki for killing Mai Teireida and injuring Satono Nishida with her sword, then Tewi Inaba, an anonymous father and his son for good luck by artifical means, and finally Okina Matara for murder of Sannyo Komakusa by shooting her in the), because Jo'on is responsible for using the magic dice and possessing good luck by artifical means which is considered illegal. Jo'on used to be the best gambler of the month in the Komakusa Gambling Den and now she made a mistake by breaking the casino rules. She should have been replaced with her older twin sister Shion when will she learn. Also weapons are very illegal and may result a lifetime ban if used (especially swords, spears, staffs, any blade weapon, firearms, guns and explosives).

I must say that I like this "director's cut" much better than the five individual parts. 😄 If you'd like some feedback, I think shorts are really only good for bite-sized, self-contained animations. Like the one with Kanako and the giant potato chip. Multi-part shorts aren't a great idea because there's too little time available. A minute is hardly enough time to show anything and viewers forget plot details between parts. Watching this compilation was an objectively better experience than watching each of the shorts as they came out.

That could be the reason why the YT shorts didn't get that many views, perhaps, but it was still a good idea to keep the channel active. Not to mention, I don't have that many ideas for individual one-shots. I'll run out of material eventually, so this is a great alternative. I will continue to split up longer videos but there will always be a "director's cut" by the end of it.
