Nice to see the new models and more additions (like Orin's cart or Mystia's stand) I remember playing GTA SA Touhou, downloaded from the Shrine Maiden forums, but it was pretty stuck on Touhou 13 and there weren't any custom models other from characters (also PC-98 ones were mostly excluded)

I still play GTA SA til this day and I remember the first touhou mod by Squid(?). Nice to see another version of the mod with most of the new characters. This is beautiful

Glad you liked it! I think I might make an update in the future with updated radio stations (since I didn't change those much, and I wanted to listen to many doujin arrangement works anyway), or maybe some other new stuff.

I have tried every version of this mod but I still can't change the character models, the character changing thingy worked on my previous pc, but my previous pc exploded since my dad tried installing Doom Eternal so I bought a new one but once I installed the mod. I can no longer change the characters, please help me.

Did you install the essential modifications (ASI Loader , SilentPatch, ModLoader, Project 2DFX, 13AG+Wesser Widescreen Fixes)? Also, you have to run "gta_sa.exe". I've never got this issue, but it sounds like the game doesn't see the installed scripts, including Skin Selector.

So they took the game off steam and ended up buying it off G2A which being a rockstar launcher game key and everytime i try to play it updates the game after downgrading. i tried disconnecting the ethernet and it still wont let me play. any fixes? i really wanna play this mod ;-;

Love this, especially since this has the ex rumia mod scripts, but I noticed some issues like how the TGTA mod pack has mima's staff replace the poolcue and the teargas img file that's supposed to be an expanding sphere of darkness is just an expanding teargas grenade. You wouldn't happen to have the original set of img files from the ex-rumia mod for "poolcue.txd""poolcue.dff" and "teargas.txd" and "teargas.dff"?

Iirc, I used to edit gta3.img with Spark. You just open it up and search for the files you need to replace. If I'm not mistaken, Katana weapon's model and texture files should be "katana.dff" and "katana.txd". Don't forget to make a backup file!

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Iirc, the scripts included in the mod use CLEO 3.0 - they are very old, and for them to work with updated versions of CLEO would require to manually edit them to be compatible, I'm afraid.

Probably not, at least not anytime soon. Most of the Touhou models created by the community were made for SA, which have to be converted manually in 3DS MAX to be used in 3/VC.

As of right now, I'm not so sure. From what I've seen, many fans are pissed off because not only the Trilogy doesn't support any of the mods made for the original games, Rockstar removed the original games from Steam (and Steam versions already had some cut content, like certain music on the radio), so if you don't have the game in your Steam library already, you need to either hunt down the original game on DVD or turn to piracy. Imo, the remakes themselves feel half-baked and rushed, and weren't even necessary in the first place; 3-VC-SA already were great games which needed no remake. I wish Rockstar did a reimagining of GTA2 or London 1969 instead, in full 3D, with more polished gameplay, story and characters. These are the games that actually would've benifitted from a remake.

Hey, thanks! Just tested it myself (Tab+Q+E > Add-on Actors) - works fine on my side. Not sure what might be causing the issue, sorry. You can try holding Tab and scrolling the mouse wheel to change models.

@@xJeePx21 so apparently, it only happens when I play without Modloader installed. I didn't know it's an essential thing for the mod run hand in hand but simply installing Modloader fixed the issue. I hope this helps the 3 people that are going through this xD Thanks a bunch for the needed changes for the mod btw. Really having a good time with my game!

Hello! I realise this is an old video but I have a problem. For some reason, the kotohime model only shows in the cutscenes. In normal gameplay, it's always the normal CJ model. And the tab + scroll to change the model doesn't work either. Is there any reason for this? Am I doing something wrong???
