In 0:28,the real rumia understand that if she go's another rampage again,the other rumia will be trap in the spell forever never see her friends again all of those good time she had,and that's why the real rumia let reimu put the spell card on the real rumia so she can let the other rumia have a good live. (Me:(tearing up)now that just really sad + beautiful,I not now much about rumia past but I do get why people called her the yokai of darkness,but in stead she let the other rumia go to her friends and than she(the real rumia) prison her self in the other rumia head so she can learned more about not killing everyone but making friends.)

Similar indeed to a story element in Persona 3, Darkness sealed inside a more kinder frame, makes friends, and wishes to remain as such. Rumia is simply the outcome when such a kinder frame is permitted to stay as such, for Thanatos was given no such clemency.
