Thank you! Amphitrite ended up being surprisingly hard to get a design down for, but she ended up being very cute in the end. (P.S: Amphitrite's name was originally going to be "Brunhilde", in reference to the main character from the movie "Ponyo", but I felt like with Aquarius's existence that reference would've been too on-the-nose, so I settled on this)

Man this album The music is so amazing, though it sometimes feels like it doesn't dedicate itself to an initial gimmick as much as it should (yes I'm talking about stage 4 theme's intro. I wish it has lasted the entire theme). The characters are really interesting, I love how they are all mostly connected in one way or another and the story has some interesting implications for the future of Gensokyo - since there's no sea in Gensokyo and the flood was usurped, where will they settle now? Edit: Also, the commentary on the current state of the ocean was also really cool. I hope the beauty of the underwater will not actually be just a forgotten fantasy

Thanks for the comment! Story-telling isn't my strong point, but I'm glad you liked what I set up nonetheless, despite the mistakes. (Also, the epilogue I think explains some things concerning what happens after the flooding)

This project is honestly beautiful! The music is great, and all the characters are great! Especially the final boss theme and character. Its good to have some unconventional characters, it certainly shakes things up a little!

Amazing album, give me Sapphire phanlogism vibes , but if the plot was more focused on environmental stakes than religious ones The sayu reference in boss 3 is surprising but really cool to see. At first I found Mathilda design a bit goofy with her wendy looking haircut, but I really feel bad for her after reading her extra stage story Stage 4 , boss 3, 4 and 5 are my favs tracks Finally, Uomi has one of the coolest design I've ever seen in a touhou fangame

That was my favorite part of the song. One thing I regret kinda was not being able to find places to incorporate the motif more, especially after losing the old FLP file to my computer having been reset. Too late to change anything now, I suppose.

While im honestly apathetic towards the first three boss themes, my goodness the normal stage themes make up for them, my goodness these are some great songs.

If I could tack on something to this, it almost feels like the hooks are played and then the track moves onto other material. Not that it's wrong, it's just a shame since the hooks are so damn good. Especially Stage 3 Boss' intro, WOW what an intro. A lot of people share my sentiment regarding the story's implications, both up and down. tldr; it gud I love Edit: Forgot to add the bit about Oberon and his relationship. It's REALLY interesting how he's not a Yokai YET. Also the fact that he hitches a ride with Tipheret is absolutely adorable. ALSO the fact that he speaks in a low tone near her ear reminds me of Aquamarine, the movie from 2006 and her starfish earings that would whisper compliments to her. I highly doubt that's where the idea came from, but I thought it would be neat to tag along too.

Thanks for the feedback. Coming up with melodies is hard, so really, I just stick with whatever sounds good and also fits with the song. Think that could be it. Also, concerning Oberon. Originally, the starfish was a decoration on top of Tiphereth's head like the crown, but I got the crazy idea to make him not only a real starfish, but to make him and Tiphereth married too. The similarities to that movie are coincidental, and that tidbit comes more from the relationship between Ichirin Kumoi and Unzan.

Listened to this album a bunch and can say I like it a lot. I put it on a playlist for bikeriding/drawing. Stage 5 theme also joins the list of aforementioned favorites. Ones I didnt like as much (trigger happy kakura) have grown on me. Piano in that one reminded me of the pretty one in Marine Benefit -- would've liked to see that more for sure.

Thanks for the comment. I did have plans to translate the video into Japanese, but my Japanese skills aren't very good.
