There is room for a garden, and there is a community garden located in the park directly behind this home!

This is a model but do any of these lots have a yard space? If no yard, how close is it to the neighbours?

They do have smaller yards, as the garage is also attached at the rear of the home. Neighbors are a common distance away. The alleys are paved though here in Alpine park - which changes the feel entirely!

These "inner courtyards" will not age well at all. They are not practical for having people over for a summer get-together. Your "view" is usually the plain, solid wall of another house, and once that's built, it also becomes much darker unless it's a corner plot with no neighbours on that side. Also, that little balcony is just silly. Kids just climb the railing to access the yard because walking back through the house gets annoying real fast, as is ushering your guests down a hallway to get outside. Nope.
