Saturday morning, dog walked, nice latte and watched this next instalment. Super way to start the day. What a great spot to camp. Those ibex horns were massive. I must say those ladders looked scary with a heavy pack on. 😮

This sounds like a lovely Saturday morning, David. So glad to hear you enjoyed this episode. It was certainly one of our favourite days. Seeing the ibex in their natural habitat was unbelievable. They were big and we definitely didn’t want to get too close to those horns. The ladders did get the adrenaline pumping!! 😬😬

Hey, thanks for your comment. The ladders are enroute up from tre-le-champ towards the aiguillette d’Argentiere. There are also some up to lac Blanc.

This day and the day we left Courmayeur and headed to Rifugio Bonatti were spectacular in every way and some of the most memorable (and of course these were days of dry weather!).
