Their planes are custom built for their customers. There are options on everything inside the plane... wood species and finishes, seating styles down to the type of stitches, and all accessories (pillows, curtains, bedding, dishes, cutlery). The interiors are reflections of customer choices. The G650 starts at $70 Mil... They don't sell them "off the shelf"... They are all custom made.
@maxsdad5383 жыл бұрын
But then you'd only have a Global 7500 and not a G650, Skippy. Like with cars, it doesn't matter how nice a Lincoln looks... it's STILL not Mercedes Benz.

Hello. Could you please tell, did you get type rating? If the answer is yes. How did you get it? I mean, the process of receiving type rating? How does it work? Who pay for this, who decide that you should get it? Do you know any owner of that kind of plane, who is the pilot of his own business jet???

LG's Wallpaper TV is 0.5 cm thick and Gulstream's TV looks like it's at least 5 cm. Did Gulfstream choose a cheaper TV to reduce costs?
@maxsdad5383 жыл бұрын
And you can tell how thick it is by watching a video? Yeah, right.
@AfGun011113 жыл бұрын
@@maxsdad538 Did I say how thick exactly it was? If you use your eyes and a little bit of common sense, you can clearly see that its AT LEAST 5cm thick (0:30)

I don't understand why this is way more popular than BBJ. Don't care about altitude, range or speed. The space of a BBJ makes this look like a joke.
@InfernoBleach147 жыл бұрын
Range and speed are crucial for business executives. They use this as a business tool, so they need to be able to get to multiple meetings as quickly as possible with the least amount of stops. Plus you can avoid bad weather by flying higher.
@tonTeufel7 жыл бұрын
The main factor is prize. This thing is way cheaper than any new BBJ or ACJ and operating costs are only a fraction
@Jordan_Jetter7 жыл бұрын
Lets not also forget the Cabin altitude, which reduces fatigue a lot which is also super important.
@bingbang33185 жыл бұрын
Also short field performance can land a lot closer to most destinations than full size jet I have been fortunate enough to fly private often and for me the main benefit is being able to land and take off anywhere from an hour or half days travel on ground closer to you destination

A BBJ is about $40m more, Skippy. And the BBJ is NOT competing with Gulfstream. They're designed for completely different markets.
