I brought five. Of the hermit crabs home from Cuba in 1980. They are the greatest little pets. And yes they each have their own personality. You will grow to love them too!!😊

I love Jungle Bob's! Met Bob at a reptile expo forever ago and started going to the shop, everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful. Tyler always answers my incessant questions with patience and is so nice. I have purchased both pets and supplies here and highly recommend!!!

I'm in Massachusetts and have been interested in reptiles my hole life and didn't know jungle Bob existed till today . So glad you are using your popularity to promote other great reptile people and the hobby . Enjoyed the video very much ! Brian, when you get hermit crabs, make sure the substrate is a mix of Eco Earth and play sand and that the substrate is at least six inches deep. There are going to be periods where you’re not going to see them and please don’t dig them up if they burrow down. They make caves for molting. They’re not like tarantulas where they molt out in the open. They also need fresh and saltwater and things to climb on. People in the hermit crab community will tell you not to feed pellets from the pet store.

I keep mine in an inch of pretty blue sand, he's been with me for 3 years so far...and he eats the crab cake pellets. Get over it

@@exteeriority4349 Your crabs are gonna die soon then. Please check out crab central station on KZbin and learn how to properly care for them. Surviving is not thriving. Hermit crabs can live for decades if taken care of properly.

I see some of his stuff on MorphMarket, very cool to see him and his place - that big Colombian Boa! Beautiful. Love to see big wild type Colombians, I have a male I'm growing up who's awesome. Best personality. They usually don't grow quite that big if fed a little more slowly as babies, I see more older boas get that big when they were fed weekly before people realized they had slower metabolisms than, say pythons and Colubrids. But also, dwarf boas are awesome too like Hog Island, Sonoran, Crawl/Caulker Cay etc.

Jay you are so freaking adorable! Hilarious the one fear I don't have hermit crabs! Thank you for these videos I have a huge fear of reptiles . I have started watching you to overcome that with knowledge I have never touched a snake in my life . We won't say how long that is. I used to climb trees to get tree frogs for my son that was 10 years ago. My daughter will tear a house up if one got loose that was her fear lol. Love your videos.
