I had to stop for a second. My whole life I've wanted to visit the Anne Frank house and this had brought me to tears. Even if you couldn't get inside, just to know that's where they were really hiding. You respect all the history that you see and I appreciate that. I cannot travel anymore because of a lung condition so seeing this with you is amazing. Thanks so much.

I went to the Cannibis Cup in 2011 and walked past the Ann Frank House everyday. I didn’t know the historic significance of that house. I’m glad I got to see it.

Thanks Jordan.when I was a special ed teacher we did the Anne Frank story. Each student played a part. The kids really got into it. Anne missed being liberated from the concentration camp by a week. So Sad.

Loved this Jordan, I visited Anne Franks House about 25 years ago, you didn't have to book then, the experience was heartbreaking. Going up the narrow stairway behind the book case, I could almost hear German soldiers stamping upwards, driving abject fear into the family. The story of your friend meeting Otto was incredible. I`m with you, who needs Paris when you have Amsterdam. I go there from Scotland a few times a year with KLM to visit family in Germany, few days in Amsterdam on the way out or back is fun, great, food and so much to see. Forget the train, best and cheapest way to get around Europe is Flixbus, comfortable, reliable and great value. Berlin to Hamburg return trip of 6 hours for 10 Euro.

Nice job Jordan...went 15 years ago and had forgotten how beautiful it is there ... while watching I kept saying "oh yeah ..was there and there and oh that bartender in that that place was hot ...oh that's where the good pizza place was...uhh that place was too good , don't remember anything .."..was lucky to go to the Anne Frank house with no crowds...bizarre walking behind the bookcase into the attic...I remember looking out the window at the church spire like she described and thinking ..wait I'm 6'3"..this is not what she saw...so I knelt down to her height...and saw what she would have....Van Gogh museum awesome too....never made it to the Hilton over by the Airport to check out the Lennon bed-in room ...maybe you'll go there for us ....great job ...thank you ..!!!

Nice video! You might look up Amsterdamse School, a beautiful kind of pre-modern, sober architecture that precedes DE STIJL (Mondriaan, Rietveld and others) which had a great influence on 'BAUHAUS' (later on in Germany)

Omg I love Anne Frank I’ve been studying the holocaust for years. It would be awesome if you could make it to the Camps. I definitely have to make it there one day. Hey Jordan, I know I've comment on this vlog before, but we are watching the diary of Anne Frank (on Turner movie classics), with your friend Shelley Winters, and we're blown away with the acting. I think everyone should have won an academy award for this movie it was excellent and Shelley's acting was superb.

Will have to visit Belgium And Amsterdam ; the Low Countries are so nice and so close to us only 354 miles away half hour on Eurostar and you’re there still need to get a passport though . Last time I went in 1985 I went on the ferry . Loved the Shelley Winters story and Anne Frank Home . Jordan thank you for this! I've seen Amsterdam on movies but they didn't go into much detail as this! And I dearly love Shelly and when you bring her into your vlogs. She was always my fave actress and she was a riot on talk shows. I loved her accent! She said what she wanted to say and I admired her for it. I was thrilled with this! After the war Otto got remarried to a lady by the name of Elfriede Geiring. She and her husband and kids were actually neighbors to the Frank's. They also went into hiding and were ratted out and sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau.

May we never know the horror that was the Nazi Third Reich. The lady that sang with my brother is a descendant of Rembrandt Van Ryan. She could sing and draw incredibly! The gift continued through the family. They have a few of his paintings in the Louvre in Paris.
