Absolutely one of my favourites, it's divine from top to bottom. I especially loved that all the paintings have been lovingly restored to their former glory and sparkle in their original colours. And the peacocks .....swoon. There isn't anything i don't love about it. Exquisite taste and exceptionally done. This is the gold standard many others should aspire to. Thank you for allowing us the honour to see it half a world away. ❤

This may be my favourite French man. I think I could sit and listen to him for hours! From his fishnet wearing ostrich and love for birds to his casual drop of wolf rehabilitation support to the way his proper French blue dining room leads to the next salon visually connected by the draperies... this was utterly fascinating. I hope that my French is one day good enough to converse with him at a dinner party. And that my château is worthy of his attendance.

It is so reassuring to me that at least some castles in France are being meticulously and thoughtfully cared for by the French, who care about the castle's history, and work to preserve it, instead of being sold off and bought by, for instance, American nouveau riche and arbitrarily redone, etc. It is such a treat to see and hear the actual owners giving these tours. Very reassuring indeed!!!
@aprilhancy72773 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your beautifully educational video. The Castle seems to have a lively spirit about it. Some of the mansions being built in America are generic monstrosities that off-gas into the nature around them. Thank you for having the heart to preserve history and craftsmanship.

Merci, Thank you so much for the tour of this magnificent Chateau complemented by your eloquent and elegant narration. The Chateau is a treasure of fascinating historical periods of architecture, paintings, furniture, design and beautiful historical objects. I can only imagine how intoxicating it must be to study the history of such a Chateau and the lives of nobles who have been in residence. Every room has its own charming splendour; the library is exquisite and the theatre, my goodness, is a jewel par excellence. The variety of roses scent must be wonderful in bloom. It is marvellous that your restoration is so sensitive and in keeping with the period history. This video was delightful and a pleasure to watch. Xxxx

Mon Dieu ! Quel choc ! Immense merci .

Poor little wolfies. They like to be isolated and away from mankind, it is the hungry, rejected from the pack wolves that will take sheep. But by then they are dangerous, since it is only a small step for them to start attacking people. I don't like the 'naturalised' animals, I feel that it isn't respectful. The chateau and its grounds are magnificent. Thank you for showing us
