A fun tour around the Kawartha Lakes municipality, including visits to Lindsay, Fenelon Falls, and of course, Bobcaygeon! We stayed at an airbnb cottage near Lake Scugog and also visited Port Perry. This is a wonderful area to explore, with plenty of sites to see, shopping, restaurants, and hiking/biking trails. And a LOT of boating opportunities!!

Such a beautiful part of the province. I did some drone flying at Bobcaygeon - asked the Lock Warden for permission and was denied. It's easy to get good shots from high up and off to the side. Your trip looked wonderful.

Good video Don. Just be careful flying over Parks Canada sites as drone not permitted without permission (as per their website). I know a couple pilots that were approached at other sites when flying.

Parks Canada has no jurisdiction over their airspace other than over National Parks. Historic Sites like the Trent-Severn Waterway do not qualify. Of course, they do have jurisdiction over their actual land property.
