Yes! Evangelion World is AWESOME!! I make sure to stop at Fuji-Q Highland every time I'm in Japan. They have some amazing roller coasters, not to mention the best view of Mount Fuji!

Hi Rob! Thanks for uploading videos of your trip and especially the EVA UNIT 01 demo at Evangelion World! I can't wait to go next year. It looks like you had a blast! What did you record your videos with? I dont have a camcorder or video camera and I'd rather not buy one if I could get by with just my phone. I have an iphone 6s. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching! I'm glad someone enjoyed it. I shot the video on my Samsung Galaxy. I wish it had better resolution, especially in low light, but it got the job done. If you have an iPhone 6s, I'm sure it will look great (the iPhone 6 has a much better camera than my phone). Enjoy your trip!

Hello Rob, Did you go to the gift shop while you were there? Apparently they made Evangelion ties! The reconstruction minister received one as a gift earlier in the year and has actually worn it at official meetings and conferences. Did you happen to see any? I believe it was around 6,500 yen, or roughly $65 for an all day pass. That gets you access to all the rides and attractions like Evangelion World.

KaijuRob and how much did it cost you to go to japan ?

On this trip in 2016, I spent about $2,800 including airfare and hotel (got a great deal on Expedia!) for 8 days. I went back in 2017 for 18 days and spent about $3,600 on hotels and airfare. But not only did I stay longer, I traveled to many different cities and stayed at various hotels.

It should be. Evangelion World is open year around at Fuji Q. Although, can't say if the park is open right now, due to the pandemic.

@@zerosumgamez Hmmmm. Just looked it up. Apparently, it was a temporary attraction in 2017. Then it returned from July 2018 to January 2019, so it's gone again. Damn. Never understand why things come and go so fast in Japan...
