The 3rd holy place in Islam is Masjid Al Quds where miraj was performed which is a small mosque near Al Aqsa (the Golden dome). IT IS NOT Al Aqsa. The confusion started in the mid eighties when zionist organisations started printing islamic calenders with Al Aqsa everywhere and labelled as the 3rd holy place in Islam. Now everyone one is trying to protect Al Aqsa instead of al Quds which has been widely forgotten by the Muslims, not sure whether it's been destroyed already. Al Aqsa was built near al Quds as a premeditated diversion for the future. Milions of Muslims go al Aqsa and believe they have visited the holy place when in reality they just visited a standard mosque where no miracle took place, I made this mistake 25 years ago too....
