This needs us all to do some self reflection and look further ahead because this is what is happening in my village. Big houses and big chunks of land have been abandoned once the owners are no more. The young people are in the big cities. The land is lying there unproductive partly due to the dysfunction in many families 🤷‍♂️

Am a strong believer that the dead still come around to visit and have meetings in their place of residence. It might look old and rusty or in ruins to some but this place still shines and tells the tales of the people who lived or gathered there. Summer, may this journey bring all the healing your soul needs and may you find true comfort and fresh memories to hold on too. Ur mom is a true tropper, she is holding on to all she has but living and dead and that whats making her strong. Big hugs to her and thanks for sharing this. Its not easy taking us back in time and it also shows how we should cherish the old. I would rate this as one of the best videos i have watched on you tube in a long while.

Nice tour. Beautiful house, beautiful memories. The garage where the old car is parked is crumbling due to the trapped heat and humidity. It is best to open the doors to prevent further damage. Thank you for sharing this with us Summer. It's so deep and I am glad you dropped your fears and went home (your igbo home). This is a natural healing process for you. Well done. I love the village setting, so original and deep. Be consoled too... we can see this is not easy at all for you.

It is better to start refurbishing and renovating the house because time is coming when every foreigner abroad will go back to their motherland.

I want to say a big thank you for this video. I cant remember the last time I enjoyed a video like this and wished it doesn't ever come to an end. I reside here in the US too , I've lost both parents and two sisters...so I do feel your pain. My heart breaks every time I remember them and sometimes wished I could just have them back for 10 mins. Like you rightly said, we need to be aware of our mortality and take this life for what it really is...TRANSIENT. I'm sorry for your two sisters, I pray God grant them and your dad eternal rest. Happy that you still have your mum, enjoy her please. Again, thank you.

Thank you very much for sharing your personal story with the world. Yours is by no means an isolated case. My prayer is that God will grant you the means to bring about a complete restoration in honour of your father's legacy. 🙏🏻

Awww! What a nice trip it was Summer. Please suggest to your siblings so you all can pull resources together for the renovation of the house which might encourage your siblings back home to come visit more often.

Hi Summer thanks for sharing I know is not easy going through all this stuff. Your dad must have been a compassionate person and a big man . I joined voices that called to renovate the house with your siblings, if is possible please. In honor of your dad, he was too big of a person to let it be in ruins like this.

These videos are really hard to watch without crying. I could feel your pain. It's actually good to let it all out, and if crying is the way for you to heal, don't hold back. Losing loved ones is a very painful experience. Please stay strong.
