29 year old fan here. This behind the scenes was a great watch! I'm very surprised at how ambitious this movie is. Comedy and mystery are especially difficult genres to write. Sci Fi is an especially time consuming thing to create visually too. You chose not to take the easy way out at all; big props to the whole team! Strangely, this tour video had a Christmas-like energy to it. Like those houses that spend months decking out for Christmas, you had to use your creativity to make an immersive world out of what you have on hand and a limited budget. It really adds to the charm! I don't expect sci fi stuff to look totally real, because the fun of watching sci fi is seeing the creativity of how people manifested their vision. Knowing that the film is gonna mostly be made by the family-like crew I've watched for years is awesome. I'm gonna have a blast watching it, regardless of what reception it gets on IMDB etc.

This will be an awesome movie, but just a suggestion, if you want, you could probably make a tv-show sort of like a comedic version of star-trek using that set. I think that that would help you guys use your creative outlet, and also make use of that massive set your team set up. Plus, you have 3 million fans who would LOVE to see a TV show from you guys, including me. Hope this helps!

Would be cool if you had a model of the ship so you could film some exterior fly by shots, like how sci fi space shots used to be filmed. A little editing could make some really cool visuals of the ship in space for just a few seconds here and there.

As a 63yo male ive still got abit of kid in me so the forts are cool we did alot of that but not in walmart or any store, abit disrespectful in my eyes but i was raised in the 60-70's as a kid, we were taught different back then,,but love the whole town or state wide hide n seek, u boys always callin yourself survivors id like to see u guys go take a real survival course and then put what u learned to good use,,, 'alone' and have an instructor or samuel/blake pick a winner

Epic! You should consider renting the set out to other KZbinrs that may want to film their own short film in it. You could recoup a chunk of your costs. $10K or something to use a set that is already complete would be a great deal for them, and mutually beneficial for JSTU.

I worked on movies in Utah and it was in the art department. Making sets, on set dressing and in props. It was the best job ever, except one movie was the worst. Our days lasted 12 hours 6 days a week. The best part is using everyday things in different ways. Something I have always done anyway. Great job guys, like the style used nice angles to grab the light. Can't wait to see it.

Everything looks good and fun, but not sure how it will all turn out, I know you guys love space and things in general, and a comedy space movie doesn't sound as appealing, even just a high budget movie being comedy space doesn't seem captivating, but I know it's all for fun and put a lot of effort and details, but I feel it's going to fall short in views, audience and any massive success (wouldn't mind be proven wrong once it's released and done), I feel you guys strived the most off your short films about zombies (even though yes there are lots like it) but with the budget this movie got I feel like a good zombie movie, story, adventure, characters possibly dying through the movies, grabbing the emotions of a character and audience if there is any losses, and the continuation for more. It would be thrilling and fun with a hint of comedy if you wanted to add, - I also liked your guys short films that each member made, I forgot who done it, but it had doors and each door led to somewhere different and there was a objective to find (I forget) like the right door or an escape? Had you jumping through doors and running across a shady character that tried to steal something from you, so something like that turned into a big budget would be amazing, fight scenes, drama, emotion grabbing in the struggles of figuring out what these doors really are, the answer to the mystery and the characters you meet along the way. But maybe this Space short film will be something more whimsical and fun, I wonder what the story is, what is the objective? How much can you tell about a character, who they are and what they can do in scenes just from a ship alone? That's what I worry a little, but you guys did do very well on that Mars like film, living on mars in the self made tent like thing that grows plants and provides air, you guys ran across aliens, fought them off, had trouble with losing oxygen in your main base, overcame obstacle and dynamics of the characters. So maybe im being a little underwhelming with expectations, and hope it turns out a little (or more better) than I think, all in all it'll be for fun and seeing the potential of the acting, the scenes, any story telling ect. Story telling I am also skeptical about but I hope it can captivate enough.
