Love Bloopers color! Cant believe I hadn’t subscribed before since I’ve been watching for awhile so I rectified that. I just bought this model and will get it in 10-14 days. You really helped with bringing this version to my attention. I too prefer the earlier G layout. Happy travels! 😊🙌

Blooper is an adorable name especially considering the reason for it. Going to rewind to see how you did that lounge configuration. In the newest model don't like the Dinky front table or that there's no more puzzle bed. Edit: oh! That lounge is clever.

I would be really interested in video about how to maintain the plexiglass windows. I like a bright clear view out of our Travato. Recently I added plexiglass widow vents to a new car and at first I really liked them. They quickly became hazy. The brighter the light outside the worse they looked. So can they be cleared once they get scratchy? Really curious. Congrats on the new van.

will be interesting to see your mods and changes.... as noted I have ordered a 2022 Travato GL with ETD in May 2021.. I ordered it with most options including the extra battery module.. the 2022 has several changes -- most are good - some not.. even though the 2022 has a much improved front radio/nav head unit.. I still think I will replace it with an Alpine Halo9 or Halo11 for a bigger screen... Will be interesting to see what you add in for internet - antennas - modems -etc.. what would be a good 5G 7-9 to 1 antenna? needs 4 cellular leads - 2 wifi leads.... I will be build a removable storage ottoman for the passenger seat area and some removable system to allow a bed in the lounge area as this a change in 2022 that needs addressing.. I need to find a way for some of the solar output to go to the chassis battery for maintenance and may add a smaller inverter for use when the 3600 watt version is not needed.. adding a secondary DC bus in the electronics area near TV - replace TV with computer monitor and proper veas wall mount arm. lots of fun to come

As usual with our vessels, we never really get to install a mobile internet solution as we're constantly testing stuff as our job. And the van will be a mobile test bed. So we're designing around being able to carry multiple antennas to test head to head. Check out our Mobile Internet Resource Center channel for specifics on the stuff we track, or www.mobileinternetinfo.com. That's our day job :) We just recently did a 5G antenna video.

We love this! It looks perfect. We are listing our Unity before the end of the month and plan to buy something a smidge smaller in about a year. This is on our list, along with the all electric Revel. We're wondering how much solar can be added to the Travato.

We know some who have gotten 600w. Ours came with 200-215. We think we can get another 200 up there without too much hassle.

Is this the new style Travato GL like they had on the Nov 18 Winnebago announcement or is it the old style Travato GL. Many like the old style GL better.

You state that you can run the AC without the generator? Pretty sure you can't.
@Technomadia Жыл бұрын
We absolutely can.. our van has a 48v lithium setup that can run the AC for about 8 hours without charging. And there's no generator, it charges off the alternator of the engine. We have been using lithium batteries for years in all of our RVs and our boat - running AC off battery is just normal these days.

Curious to know how many 12v amp/hrs the Travato is packing.
@Technomadia3 жыл бұрын
The GL does not have a 12V battery - the lithium system actually runs at 57V. The battery I believe has around 9000 Watt/hrs of capacity, which works out to a 12V equivalent of around 700-800Ah.

why does a new class c cost $50000 but a little class b costs $90000?
@Technomadia4 жыл бұрын
One major reason is resale value - Class B’s typically hold their value (and hold up to use) much better than Class C’s.
@Technomadia4 жыл бұрын
A Class C is built frame up, cheaper to build. A Class B is built into an existing shell (van). Much more labor intensive.
