In all the tourist places, there are lots of Currency Exchange booths, all display the Exchange rates, which are very competitive, as good as they are in the banks if not better. Most hotels have safe boxes to keep your home Currency safe, until you get them changed.

When you was in Phuket old town you could have visited on on hotel from the film the beach I've been all over Phuket it's so beautiful glad you enjoyed it you could have taken a trip to phi phi island from there as well

Phuket doesn't have many historical sites. it is still a very small city. Nakhon Si Thammarat and Songkhla is the cultural center of the south. If you want to see beautiful historical sites on the same scale as Bangkok Must go to Chiang Mai, Ayutthaya, Phetchaburi. The northern region has many cultural attractions because those cities were not destroyed by war.

Thank you Max, that is really interesting 🤔. We are considering Chiang Mai for a future visit. We were told that the climate isn't as humid 🥵 there but do they have monkeys? 🐒😄

Chiang Mai's weather is no different from Bangkok. But it gets cooler from mid-October to early January. In the northern region, there are not many monkeys in the forest.
