I checked that out a couple of times with mine. I heard it was deemed unsuitable for landfill and that arrangements have already been made to turn it into parkland after its closed. Money talks tho so I guess anything can happen 😏

From the air at least it looks like Silverdale has so far resisted the rot that is claiming the rest of Stoke.
