I think a commercial dishwasher, even an under the counter version would change the lives of your washer-uppers. The new space looks terrific - I am sure you will have much continued success filming in the new spot. Curious - I am sure it varies, but do you have a general idea on how much prep/work time goes into a short? E.g. 2 hrs active, 1 hrs planning, and 1 hrs post prod for a 30 sec short. I'm sure it's a lot of work, but I just have no idea how it all rolls up.

i love when i catch up on sleep and get more than 8 hours. it does feel amazing. like you've recharged and can go on for awhile. it's not always achievable but at least you can do it sometimes. and that's really what matters, that you sleep well enough to go a lot of days without barely or any sleep. i'm glad you did that. i hope you always get the best restfulness. you always earn it Andy.

I too have that pesky procrastination problem, beating myself up for not getting whatever it is that should be done, but manage to do something so its not all a loss. So I am with you there Andy. Love the kitchen and have enjoyed your presentations. Shit! i should go get my haircut, grocery shopping, put in the taxes go for a ride on my motorcycle, ah bugger it. Question: Do you feel like the studio is not as well suited as it could theoretically be since the setup morphed from a planned private home to a studio? I could imagine that it could still feel like a compromise since you originally planned something else for the building. Would you rather move your private home part or the studio part in the future ?

I so want that cooktop. I recently got an induction stove ... and love it. But I get annoyed at lifting the pans to do something and the stove going unhappy due to "safety." I had to get an outdoor wok burner for my wok cooking.
