Coe was an inmate at the Boys Industrial School when he was a teenager. It was just for juveniles in his day.That facility became the Southeastern Ohio Training Center housing 16-30 year old first time adult offenders and is now the Southeastern Ohio Corrections Center.. Mansfield was the intake center for all Ohio inmates before they were classified and routed to the prison they would serve their sentence at as well as housing over a thousand resident inmates. I worked at SEOTC and all the inmates called Mansfield "Dracula Castle" and it was the worst/most dangerous place any of them had ever been.
