@@silkroadgirll Do you know that during the Ming Dynasty, the Chinese Admiral ZhengHe led 7 voyages from 1405 to 1433 to sail the South China Sea, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, and along the east coast of Africa. His fleet included 28,000 sailors on 300 ships, the longest of which were 400 feet and 160 feet wide. By comparison, Columbus in 1492 had 90 sailors on three ships, the biggest of which was 85 feet long. ZhengHe was a Hui (Chinese Muslim).

@@jacky6681 Sorry, yes, I meant statue. When I was mentioning that those people say there are statues inside the Chinese style mosques, I meant they are just spreading rumors. Like I said, there is no statue inside the prayer hall (礼拜殿【我们中国人把礼拜殿叫做无相宝殿,是因为伊斯兰教认为真主没有形象,无处不在,所以在礼拜殿中自然也没有偶像】), because it is totally profihited to worship a statue according to Islamic law. The purpose that they say Chinese style mosques have statues is they just want to imply that Chinese Muslims are fake Muslims and Chinese Islam is fake Islam.

The most legendary mariner in Chinese history, Admiral Zheng He of the Ming dynasty, was a Muslim, born and brought up in a distinguished Muslim family in China. In more colloquial Chinese, he was known interchangeably as 三寶太監 or 三保太監, read as San Bao Tai Jian. During the admiral's sojourns in the Middle East, the locals commonly knew him by this more colloquial name "Sanbao" and hence was born the legend of Sinbad in the Middle East. No surprise then that some years ago when Hollywood were hatching the idea of a life-action movie of Sinbad, Keanu Reeves was the one and only choice to play the role of Sinbad/Zheng He. For Zheng He himself came from a lineage of Middle Easterners who had lived in and intermarried with local Chinese for generations. (His great-great-great grandfather served in the Mongolian court of Kublai Khan's Yuan Dynasty.) Sinbad/Zheng He was therefore tall and striking, with the appearance of a person of mixed Middle Eastern and Asiatic parentage - just exactly how Keanu looks. (The movie never got made and to this day, there are musings over whether studio heads were bogged down by geopolitical winds. Box office potential was highly unlikely a hindrance given Keanu Reeve's proven marketability, the access to the Chinese movie market given the theme of the movie and last but not least the appeal of the legendary Sinbad in western storybooks.) Muslims have lived peacefully alongside and embraced by the Chinese people in China for millennia; there is no greater evidence of this than the legend of Sinbad himself. How ironic, that almost ALL westerners, having no clue of the harmonious co-existence between the Chinese and Muslims from afar for thousands of years, keep dredging up the false narrative of Muslims as antagonists of the Chinese people in China.

@@mantapdjiwa9768 The lighthouse was built with the mosque at the same time. The lighthouse was used as an Azhan tower to call people living around the mosque to pray, meanwhile, it was also used as a lighthouse to guide the ships. It is reasonable that Guangzhou had the first mosque in China, because it was more convenient for Arabs to travel to China by ocean rather than by land.

My English level is not enough to fully understand what you are saying, I still rely on subtitles. But I still subscribed to your content. If you know Chinese friends. It is strongly recommended that you add Chinese subtitles to your video and upload a copy on bilibili in China. I firmly believe that you will gain millions of fans. Don't be surprised that there are 300 million Internet users in China. Advertising revenue will give you a monthly income of tens of thousands of yuan.

It is better if the camera was directed forward instead of the speaker all the time. It is definitely not necessary for the speaker to be in the video.

Thanks so much for sharing. However, your cam is moving too much while you walk that make me dizzy. You may try to use new kind of cam like DJI pocket 2 which has anti-vibration and anti rotation features.

Quite irony we don't find a 1300 years old of others temple in Islamic countries. Even in Afghanistan they had the historical Buddha statues blown off. Being amazed by the polytheism been share equally and peacefully in China, the prophet Muhammad had lead a raid to promote monotheism by destroying other "pagan" idols in Mecca not mention killing a thousand whom not convert after conquered the city.

I like your videos and find your commentary interesting and you are very engaging. But TBH I started feeling some vertigo especially watching this video, and I am not sure why. It hasn't happened with other youtube vlog videos, but it did happen when 3D movies first came out, like in the first two years of 3D movies, but it doesn't happen anymore. Something is an anomaly in the perspective or motion. :-(
