I'm from California were we have tons of amazing state parks. But visiting Watkins Gorge is unreal and magical. Highly underrated!!!

I agree! It’s like walking through a movie set.

Really well done video. I just hiked and filmed the gorge too recently and was curious what else was out there for content on it. I really enjoyed your take on the hike. :)

Best video of the Glen I've seen so far. You deserve x100's more views. Used to live in Elmira and parents had a cottage on Seneca Lake. I miss the area .... but not the taxes! :-) Have always wanted to go back in the spring when the melting snow run off water is really flowing.

I went last summer and yes it can take 2 hours if you just walk. There is a lot of stairs or you can take the trails. Take the map as soon you get there to have an idea where to park your vehicle. I parked near the pool , did one side, pool and then walk the other side. Is depending how do you want to split your time.

Well done...I walked the Glenn for the first time with the 295th Military Police Co. Seneca Army Depot in Summer of 1978 Been back several times most recent Summer 2012. I live in So Cal. 1978 was a different kind of walk, very little stone work had been done.

Hi, what % is stroller friendly? I see bunch of stairs and steps. Thanks
@growingyourbaby7 жыл бұрын
+Mac Vlogs very little. I saw many parents carrying their kids and the strollers simultaneously. There are hundreds of stairs.
@growingyourbaby7 жыл бұрын
+Mac Vlogs not a lot of it is because of the ruts and holes in the pavement. There are also a TON of stairs. And by a ton I mean hundreds.

growingyourbaby haha yes, we took ur advice and didn't bring the stroller with us. Thank you. It was GORGEous.

+Mac Vlogs the entire gorge trail is either stairs or uneven pavement. I wouldn’t recommend a stroller at all. There are hundreds of stairs.
