@@christiecrawford1653 haha, I lived there for a year and it was pretty moderate come wintertime, although there were days when I couldn't get out of my driveway because the snow was so bad. springtime was the best

Westcliffe endured the pandemic relatively unscathed. As for it being a good place to retire, well, if you'd like a quiet town with stunning mountain views and longish Colorado winters, you'll love Westcliffe. One disadvantage: There's not a whole lot of medical facilities. We do have one medical center for basic stuff, but for those needing more specialized care or easy access to an ER, you'll need to drive to Pueblo, Canon City, or Colorado Springs.

Oh, you bet. As I write this, there are FOUR coffee shops in our little town. We've never had a lot of restaurants, bu the few that are here are open. And, of course, we do have our one supermarket. 😀Internet options are OK in most parts of the county.

Yes, Westcliffe is open to outsiders. You can expect the advantages and disadvantages that go with living in a small town too. I'm curious: What will you do for work when you arrive here?
