These are all of the lifting accessories we recommend on Amazon (Bands, Bar collars, Mobo board, REP box, etc) . Everything else is linked in the description: www.amazon.com/shop/themovementsystem

The change plates don't slide well because they are friction fit. They are made to stay on the sleeve when placed outside the collar. Change plates are placed outside the collar to reduce the time it takes to make minor adjustments to the load. If you wanted ones that were cheaper and not friction fit you should have gone with steel.

Makes sense

Now having used them that way outside the collar it's actually really convenient

Fellow Buckeye here! Great setup, I have an almost identical one in my basement! Moved up to Columbus (Technically Gahanna) from FL, so thrilled that Rogue is practically in my backyard.

Nice setup man, I recently went for the home gym as well, gym memberships are getting way too expensive in my area. Only downside of a home gym is that you dont get to see other gym bros haha.

The change plates are friction grip plates…. They’re meant to be hard to come off cuz they are meant to be used on the outside of the collar and not worry about the plate falling off…. Expensive but I’m a fan of them lol

Great space! Did you consider the Foldable Rogue Squat Rack? It would save even more floor space especially when closed.

You mentioned the Rep Open Trap bar is shorter than the Eleiko Open deadlift bar, wondered if you were comparing to the version 1.0 or 2.0 with shorter loadable sleeves? If moment is no object, I'd have thought the Eleiko was the better bar but for a smaller space maybe not. I'd recommend the Rep Adonis for sure if you have the space or the Bells of Steel Low Row Lat pull down because it can be bolted to the wall if not. Rep seems like the superior product especially with the Pegasus attachment

Really recommend the Rep Open Trap Bar and the Rogue Kabukki Transformer bar for various squat types. You will easily be able to squat 50lbs+ more due to complete comfort.

Sir how can I do a cardio without equipment? Should I do interval training? If Yes, what exercises and intervals should I do? How to program it?

LOL wrote comment below before seeing you have Rep's open trap bar. They have a handle attachment now that has small, medium and WIDE grips for your forearm.

By accident, I bought a second hand 'Mirafit' bar and plate setup that came with the NICEST change plates/fractionals..UK company I think, but maybe avail in US. Pure metal, no colours. Wonderful things.

Great home gym! What underlayment did you use between hardwood and rubber flooring? I have similar situation and read that it can’t be put directly since the hardwood/vinyl will be dyed by the rubber oil overtime. I appreciate your feedback.
@TheMovementSystem Жыл бұрын
I guess we’ll find out if that happens because we just put it right on the vinyl plank flooring

I got the Rep Fitness PR4000 and 2 dual Athena's with 110lb weight stack and gym pin for heavier but can combine both stacks with GymPin's D bar. I love Rogue but they don't have integrated cable system. For me perfect Rogue setup would have Rhino under rack for belt squats and so much more. My next step is organization now like idea of shelves to hold everything probably will go that route vs the metal peg boards so many use.

with a squat stand, the uprights are closer to the wall and you would have more space. A plate tree doesn't take up that much space

True, but it’s not as sturdy for doing rack pulls, or attaching bands to for rows. Pros and cons to each

Ok I"m really curious about heavy loads on your flooring. What kinds of home flooring can not withstand a home gym regardless of the rubber you choose to lay over it?
@TheMovementSystem Жыл бұрын
We reinforced the floor by adding a stack of cinder blocks and a wood cross beam in the crawl space.

@TheMovementSystem I feel much better about the price knowing that the floor consumed roughly half of the total. While I totally respect your buying made in America, think I would have gone with rep
