I think it would be a good idea to get hold of a retired nun or priest that lived there and do an interview or invite for a walk around. It does not matter if people are religious or not it is the history and richness of the history that matters. You can modify the walls and bring it back to original Physical status but you also have a richness and history of lives lived. I think that is a huge part of a heritage site and its restoration.

Those troughs or 'coffins' as you suggested them, are for keeping root vegetables. You put sand, or garden soil in them, then your root crops like carrots, turnips and potatoes. The sand or soil helps regulate the humidity in the vegetables. When the soil dries out you sprinkle it lightly with water so your food doesn't wither and dry up, or get too humid and sprout. This was a kitchen food supply storage.

Big buildings echo and footsteps are usually little critters that sound like big foot steps. Also, after you walk on old floors, they press down in the day and at night, as the air cools, they 'pop' up, sounding like footsteps. It's a great building so don't get too spooked. You're extremely lucky to have this historical place.

I volunteered locally when our old prison was rehabbed into a museum and event venue (haunted house, summer film center, etc.) and it was tremendously heart-warming to bring that piece of local history back - or at least part-way back - to what it was. The building used local granite, and while it was a prison, it feels like the town has claimed its own history, if you know what I mean. This is the impression I get from your video. This was an incredibly enjoyable watch; I love to hear the convent history that you have already shared. I am not a nun, but I am a recently retired single school teacher. I would happily rent a 'nun's room' for a little holiday in your historic convent. :)

The TV room would make a great coffee house or tea room. The hall cupboards could showcase local stitchery , honey, or crafts for sale.
