Funny for the life of me I couldn't remember what they were called. I was thinking unimog, but that wasn't right. There sure was a lit of iron in the sale, although nothing like the big sales in Edmonton. Hope you are doing well and have a happy Easter weekend.

Loved every minute an wondered do they ever sell all that stuff? How much just sets from auction to auction.. was curious about the trucks and mostly cab and chassis or service rigs, most service rigs are just beat to crap
@lovesloudcars2 жыл бұрын
Well Morgan that's a great comment! Everything sells. I do see sometimes machines that look like they were not hauled away, but quite rare. I suspect that there are two culprits for that game. #1 people like you & I who think "THAT'S selling pennies on the dollar- I'll buy it & sell it next auction & turn a profit" #2 ( My suspicion of most of it) Richie Bros has someone watching for steals & instead of a normal peasant like ourselves getting a deal, they buy it & resell next auction or list in on their ironplanet website. This is a big sale no doubt, but NOTHING like a 5 day sale in Edmonton. It would probably take a couple hours to do a quick walk by of the lineup on some of those sales. When they are reporting sale revenue for one auction up near a billion dollars you know there was a LOT of machines. I think in some ways these sales are the estate sale of Alberta's economy.

@@lovesloudcars Wow, thanks for this reply as it does put a question to rest n kinda wakes up one/lol, they know how to make money and probably have a spotter in the audience to bid up stuff or buy for sale themselves.... maybe??

@@cantwellron11 that's funny! 17 Celsius is a nice summers morning! We had a crazy heatwave last summer it got up to +40. Usually it gets a few days of mid - high 30s. How hot do you get in the summer peaks? I think driving the Nullarbor would be a cool adventure.

Great video! Thank you. Amazing the size of some of that equipment! Love that D9T Could look at that stuff all day long. Would love to operate it also, lol. Really like those FAT TRUCK machines, could have some fun with those. Anyway, as always, all the best and God Bless to all! Happy Easter!

Well.... I was on on a few things I needed like another hole in the head & ended up missing on them. So all I ended up doing was getting some videos of this and those old trucks and waste 2 days. I should take up hunting!! Could spend extra days doing that too!

Hello my friend. No I don't have any equipment for sale myself. People from all over the world buy from these Ritchie Bros auctions though. Perhaps you can find some on their website. I hope you enjoyed the video.
