Tour the Norwegian Star | 4K HD Cinematic View Aboard This Cruise Ship

Come along with us as we explore NCL’s Norwegian Star ship. This floating resort became our home away from home for an extensive 18-day journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure began in the historically rich city of Lisbon, Portugal and ended in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Norwegian Star has a guest capacity of 2,348 and a crew capacity of 1,031. The Star was built in 2001, and it underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in 2021. This ship travels to South America, Mediterranean, Northern Europe and does Transatlantic trips, like ours!
The ship offers lots of different areas for dining, drinks, entertainment, lounging and relaxing. Some of our favorite places include Versailles, the main dining room, which always offered a wide variety of delicious meals and desserts. The Internet Cafe provided a quiet space for us to work on videos, play cards and read.
The O'Sheehan Bar, open 24/7, quickly became our go-to spot for a snack, cocktail and great conversation with the staff. The Stardust Theater hosted the big productions and variety show entertainment, including a juggling comedian, Cher impersonator, cabernet style show, an amazing vocalist, and violin player. Another favorite spot was the Gatsby's Champagne Bar, with its sophisticated atmosphere, served up some of the best handcrafted drinks and had live music throughout the day.

Acompáñenos mientras exploramos el barco Norwegian Star de NCL. Este resort flotante se transformó en nuestra casa durante nuestro extenso viaje de 18 días a través del Océano Atlántico. El barco ofrece numerosas áreas diferentes para comer, beber, entretenerse, y descansar. Algunos de nuestros lugares preferidos incluyen Versalles, el comedor principal, que siempre ofrecía una extensa variedad de exquisitas comidas y postres. El Internet Café era un espacio sereno en qual trabajábamos en videos, jugamos barajas y leyimos.
El bar O'Sheehan, abierto las 24 horas, rápidamente se convirtió en nuestro lugar favorito para un aperitivo, cóctel y buena conversación con el personal. El teatro Stardust acogió las grandes producciones y espectáculos de variedades, incluyendo un cómico malabarista, un imitador de Cher, un espectáculo estilo cabernet, un increíble vocalista y una violinista. Nuestro otro lugar preferido era el Gatsby's Champagne Bar, que con su sofisticada atmósfera, servía algunas de las mejores bebidas artesanales y contaba con música en vivo durante todo el día.

I feel like I really got to see the Norwegian Star ship! Great steady footage with clear markings of each location. It's surprising to see so many areas without people in them!

Join us on the high seas for a tour aboard the Norwegian Star as we journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Have you ever spent the holiday season on a sunny vacation getaway? It was beautiful to see the holiday decorations go up around the ship, but a little strange to spend the holidays crossing the equator in such warm, sunny weather! This footage was recorded in December of 2023.

It’s hard to capture just how big the ocean feels when you’re surrounded by miles and miles of empty water in all directions, especially at night. It’s such a unique experience, which can be very peaceful or unsettling.. or both!
