Today I will be taking you to a sneak peek tour to Group therapy sessions at High Sky CDC - Manikonda, Hyderabad
Group therapy mainly focuses on teaching social and communication, problem-solving and emotional understanding skills to kids
These are small groups consisting 4 or more kids who will be directed by trained therapists
Group goals and intervention strategies are pre-decided based on kids' age, strength, and difficulties
HIGH SKY often get more out of group learning than solo - efforts, when it comes to social communication skills
High Sky's expert team of psychologists and therapists together work hard to create and develop new activities for every Saturday fun group therapy session with the objective of:
• Reducing isolation among kids
• Develop communication and socialization skills in a really fun way method
• Increasing self-awareness, self-regulation, and gaining insight by observing, initiating, and listening to peer groups with similar issues
• Individualized one-on-one attention to kids to make changes as per circumstances thus increasing their adaptability in social situations
• Full involvement of parents with their kids
• Capability - difficulties - then goals, With strategies pre-decided by the team of expert psychologists and senior certified occupational therapists, special education therapists, and rehabilitation therapists high sky continues to focus on the social development of the child.
