-Houghton house is a lovely example of Jacobean and classic architecture which was build in 1615 for the Mary countess of Pembroke.
-It was then dismantled in 1794 to supply the roof materials for another building but the main architecture remained same.
-It is highly recommended to visit if you want to learn more about history of Houghton house.
-Best to park on hazelwood lane and just do a 5 minute walk to the destination.
-Highly recommended for wedding and family photoshoots But make sure to get the permission from English heritage first.You can do that by emailing them
- There’s no entry fee and the opening timings are 10am to 6pm (7 days a week)
