I rolled my eyes at this guy when I first saw his first sermon of one of one, but I watched and learned, was like he is too handsome & smart to struggle in love, a little part of me also thought he ain't hurt about his part relationship. Forgive me Lord for jumping to conclusions, the Lord really used him to put the uncommon truth out there... I WAS SOOOOO BOTHERED!! I Worried more than I believed and had zero clarity of what the next step of my life will be, Now I know that the key is trusting God and be so unbotherered ,,knowing God got me, I gotta just stick to living in my purpose. Busting in tears as I type this, God loves us as we are no matter our past choices

Him and Meaghan Good were super duper in love and very close. It was a massive shock to anyone who followed their relationship from the start. I believe they still love each other but the problem is, Meagan was forced to become someone she is not because Devon is a pastor and is tied to the church and the church people were brutal towards Meg. There was an interview they did where someone from the crowd interrupted and made some nasty comments about her looks. Devon was amazing and jumped to her defense and he tried to protect her but there is only so much 1 man can do. The whole establishment and that way of life just didn't agree with her and I believe that's why it ultimately had to end. Very sad. Meg is that all-accepting, all-loving Cali girl, she is a hippie at heart but the establishment wanted her to be the judgy prude first lady of the church. It's just not her personality.

What he says is true, and I will need to come back to this over the holidays. The holidays are the worst time of the year for me because I'm always wanting someone to cuddle with and kiss me under the mistletoe. Yes, it's hard, and yes, there are some times I cry myself blind during an otherwise happy holiday season, but I should be happy regardless because I know God holds me in His hand and He's gotten me through far worse things than being bothered about my singleness during the holidays.
