The power of fear was squashed by the power of faith! Holy Spirit imparted and told him to move and he MOVED. No hesitation and it was a powerful flow when DeVon used that ask at the right time in the right moment. I felt the whole earth hold breath while the angels got ready to rejoice!!!!! Amazing. I’m a 24 year old multi-instrumentalist, raised by a family who ran a church. I knew God was real because my family showed me thru their worship, & my gifts came so natural that I knew it came from somewhere else. As I grew into teenage years, i began to work hard, achieve amazing things in my field, even became the highest scoring band student in my schools history, for State-wide auditions. I went to an amazing university, but instead fell in love with doing my own production. I dropped out eventually, being heavily influenced by weed, & a broken heart. I began to worship my vision as a way to band-aid my father not raising me, my character & maturity level not being valued by my peers & lovers, & the fact that I was a drop out (first in the family to be in a university, caused much shame). I worked and worked, finally got some of the validation I wanted, and felt even emptier, even MORE frustrated. I just want to say I have now fully accepted God as the alpha-omega, who has been knocking at my door patiently, waiting for me to see His love from my OWN eyes.. not just my family’s teachings. This has led me to peace, finding my true soulmate, optimism, patience, appreciation, & vision that I NEVER felt before. This message led me to tears, & i felt every word. Devon Franklin is amazing, & watching him has truly been a blessing. Thank you Pastor Touré, ive been walking in faith stronger ever since I found your 5 keys to finding a soulmate, which led me down a rabbit hole of you, your wife, & ministry’s content. Thanks for posting all this here I felt like I’m reading about my son! While he didn’t drop out of university he graduated but lost his faith. He’s lost right now but very gifted writing and producing his own stuff but struggling with depression and anxiety and behaves like he was never raised in a Christian home. Yesterday I requested a leave of absence from the corporate job of 14 years. With faith and by the grace of God I climbed the ladder in that world. Lately I have been looking around knowing and feeling that there is nothing there left for me there. The faith I used in that season no longer serves the season and the next that God has for me. So to hear this message today only solidifies the feeling that I have been having and faith that I have taken to leave the place that no longer serves me nor what God designed me to be. I cried and complained to God but lately, I have been trying to embrace the moment and ano longer scared because of the doors that God has opened for me and he is yet to do. This was amazing! Great word! I didn't know Devon Franklin before this, now I'll never forget him. I enjoyed everything he said about service. Some people don't understand serving with a level of excellence (serving because you want to, not because you have to), it's a higher level of spiritually. Regardless if it is ever appreciated, noticed, rewarded, or talked about - it is done because of who you are and what your gift consists of. He is so right about what you fear is what you will need to do. In my case, what I fear, avoid, and run away from is what I need to run towards 🏃‍♀️. I literally was avoiding this video and by passed it everyday and on purpose. This time, I let it play on auto. This was a good one and what I needed to hear. I was stressing over getting clients, and I currently have 2.
