My own testimony on the importance of being sensitive to the holy spirit and having a PRAYER LIFE!!!!: Last week Sunday-Monday God placed it on my heart to go into prayer .. I followed through with it because he’s been placing it on my heart for the whole week actually but I’ve just been doing passive prayer. Sunday and Monday I started blasting in tongues .. I thought it was just going to be passive prayer but one thing God told me to pray about was over my brother. I’ve never expected blasting in tongues the way I did last weekend and just feverently praying the way I did .. I can’t remember the last time it just happened as soon as I knelt in his presence .. I was so confused I was like what could God possibly be doing to have me in this type of prayer state. I’m out to eat with my family right now, and my parents are sharing how last Sunday my brother at 11:30pm at night went to go and deliver pizza and was robbed at gun point in Baltimore city. They took his phone, wallet and everything. & as soon as they shared that with me God took me back to Sunday when he placed my brother on my heart heavy and I was just praying in tounges concerning him not knowing why .. and look at why God is GOOOODDD

I used to make excuses about how busy I was and couldn't make time for prayers. I also convinced myself that God knows and understands my situation. However, one day, I told myself that one makes time for what they valued most. That was just the word I needed to say to myself. Afterwards, I devoted a specific time for devotion and prayers everyday. Since then, other things have taken better shape in and around my life including my chores, children and spiritual life. It pays to spend time with God. This is the only place we get the blueprint and direction for our life. Thank you Pst. Stephanie. You've spoken to me and impacted my life through your messages. May your fire and zeal for God never run dry in Jesus name!

I have a similar story. My gran was so sick and you could tell she was waiting to die. While she was sick , I fell pregnant. She passed away and I waited two months after her departure to tell my family. It brought a sense of healing to all of us. I think my gran knew I was pregnant and she was more than happy to leave.
