I like the architecture. Nustar might have partnership with LVMH group, most of these luxury brands are LVMH owned or subsidiaries

I believe The Mall at Nustar has the largest collection of luxury brands in the Philippines. Also, the construction of the 3rd tower (Grand Summit Hotel) will make way for the expansion of the mall so expect that more luxury brands will locate at Nustar resort once complete.

I was just there this past week. Place was a ghost town. Not many people at all. High prices are out of reach of the majority of Filipinos. Versace in a country where people find it a struggle to just eat and squatter areas everywhere shows a lack of proper vision. A walk through Manila or Cebu will remind you of the harsh reality corruption brings.

Nustar is just weird, how can a place like that survive??? I visited it a few days ago and was just mindblown it was more staff there then actual visitors/customers. Ate lunch at Bangkok Kitchen they had pretty good food 🙂

You'll be surprised of how much wealth cebuanos have especially those secretive cebuanos. Unlike people there in NCR that likes to brag on luxury items they have, the majority of cebuanos don't like to brag those luxuries. Cebuanos have different mentality when it to comes to luxury, bragging & spending. And btw, nustar customers isn't just focus on cebuanos only but those wealthy individuals from Visayas & Mindanao.

Hindi lang rich Cebuanos ang target ng Nustar kundi pati na rin mga mayayaman sa VisMin wherein they don't need to fly to Manila or outside the country just to buy luxury items. Also, Cebu has lots of expats living w/ their families and foreign tourists who flock to Nustar for leisure and entertainment.

I'm a frequent visitor of this mall and I can attest that NUSTAR will not close as you presumed. The casino alone has probably earned 5M a day I know because I had a friend who works there as a card dealer. The FILI hotel is almost fully booked every week because of the tourists visiting Cebu. So I don't think NUSTAR will be in 5yrs.
