TOURING A HIDDEN GEM OF NEPAL: BANDIPUR, NEPAL

This was our first full day in Nepal. We took a 5-hour drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur, which was a chance to look through the streets and the transition into the rural areas outside Kathmandu. Touring the small and humble town of Bandipur was bliss for Lucy and me. We got to experience the culture, the way of life, and the social interactions. We went through the village, the Bazaar, the Buddhist temple on top of a hill, hiked to the highest peak in Bandipur to see the sunset, and finally, had dinner at a wonderful, humble restaurant, that only had one chef!
