I lived in a gorgeous Craftsman home in Asheville, NC. Which was completely renovated. When he decided to move he had to drag me. I will get even with him.

You are so good at presenting homes, you have the perfect personality for it. The home is gorgeous...though it is about 1.8 over my budget it is a dream home, lol. The craftmanship is clear to see, and the details and the respect for the original home are truly amazing, love it! thanks for the tour. Oh, and coffee...is everything!!! just say'n. 😉

The 'craftsman' details that this house once had have been obscured by and buried under layer after layer of paint. TOO MUCH PAINT ! It would take the better part of one to two YEARS of hard work to strip away all the offending paint. As it stands, this house might better be described as a 'craftsman by Sherwin Williams'. Craftsman houses were NEVER painted like this !

The white paint over the wood is a big no no.

Had it was done now they probably would've had it kept original but it was the trend to paint the wood white back when the remodel was done!

Mine was built in 1921. With oak and fir floors. I really don't think those are original floors in that house.
