I loved the home overall but I have 1 critique. I don't understand why I see so many luxury homes in Africa online, they sometimes don't have a washer & almost never have a dryer. I don't see the point in paying 1 million+ for a luxury home & having to hang dry clothes, but that's just me. I like the fact that there’s a lot of natural light coming in because of the many picture windows. The kitchen is my favorite in the entire house but without the dark cabinets, he should have made the island black or dark blue and the rest of the cabinets gray or white with Carrara marble countertops. It’s a 9 out of 10. The house is too contemporary and the Jack of greenery is a negative, too much hardscape. I’m surprised that with all the sunlight, he didn’t think of installing solar panels, instead he’s provided more noise pollution, with those hideous generators. I hope they have window cleaners that will clean those windows. The secondary bathrooms and closets could be larger, a lot wasted space upstairs, the children could study in their bedrooms and downstairs should have a designated home office for the Mr and Mrs. Why is there no proper garage or at least a covered carport for the cars? Why pay 2-3 million dollars and have your expensive cars exposed to the elements. I would expect a central air conditioning system in a house like this, it’s 2023, I know it can be done. Where is the laundry room?

This exactly the layout I like for this kind of house as far as the inside is concerned. Very beautiful . BUT as in most cases in subsaharan africa , There is NO garden, just concrete everywhere. I don't understand why we africans do not know how to value outdoor life . We have got the most beautiful weather on earth, but almost all really beautiful houses have no greenery, no flours, no landscaping. When I'm in Canada I'm almost 10 months out of 12 in my house. But when at home in Africa I spend most of my time not in but outside. Please learn to build houses with a nice big luxurious green and flourish garden!!!! It's such a shame....

As a high-end residential architect myself, I think the idea of a luxury residence was achieved, but the end product of luxury contemporary residence wasn't achieved. Visible services throughout the exterior, no visible landscape design and alignment of fenestration etc, think examples of how a true luxury residence is achieved should be researched more to see how the residence functions in terms of services, circulation and thresholds between the interior and exterior.
