That was back in the early to mid 90’s days of the Antioch Cruise. People came to Antioch from all over the Bay Area on Friday and Saturday nights to ‘Cruise’, the route went downtown right past Pantell’s Music Box and wrapped all the way back to Mahogany and the parking lot of the Lowes (Kmart back then?) you rode thru earlier in the video. Car Culture and Low Riding was a huge part of our social life back then. Eventually, ‘cruising’ was outlawed in Antioch, complete with “NO CRUISING” signs that stayed up for years before being removed. Antioch High School Class of 1994. *EDIT: Assembly Bill 436 just last year forced Antioch to repeal it’s ordinance making cruising illegal*

I'm from Pittsburg slick. Back in the day both Pittsburg and Antioch were small towns. Historically fishing, Steel Mill and early century Coal Mining. In the late 80's Contra Costa County and Alameda County started moving the section 8 (welfare) persons from Richmond and Oakland out to East Co Co County. It was on and poppin' after that . The county east mall closed because of the incidents and thefts and robberies. Its a ghost town now. Anyway, many of the Antioch people that were there in the beginning have moved east out to Brentwood and Oakley. There are still some nice places in Antioch off Hillcrest, Lone Tree Way and Deer Valley. So a lot of Antioch not shown is really nice as is Pittsburg. Both got a bad rap.

A 15-year-old youth, who police say killed a friend so he could take the victim’s telephone pager, has been sentenced to spend a decade in the California Youth Authority. Juvenile Court Judge John Minney, in handing down the sentence Friday, said the authority is the only appropriate place for Manuel Walker, who the judge said has a history of violence. “The minor engaged in a brutal, cowardly killing involving an apparently defenseless victim,” Minney said. “It appears he has no sense of accountability or responsibility for what he’s done.” Walker, who turns 16 next month, was convicted of first-degree murder for the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Ricky Martinelli last March. Authorities said Walker can be held until age 25.

Its a Talaria Sting MX5. Similar to a Surron but faster with better suspension, brakes, wheels etc. Its a super nice bike , well worth it IMO.

I think I saw Dick Tracy at The Stamm. I love old theaters.

I remember going there quite a few times but the only movies I can specifically remember were those 2.
