I respect the Chinese people! Whatever they build, be it above ground, underground, in the water, under the sea/ocean, on the mountains, cliffs, beside the mountains or cliffs! They can build anywhere, and they take extra care to build strong structures that defy even our imagination, and pay attention to finer details! They are truly masters of architecture! I always say that the people who built the ancient megalithic architectures throughout the world, in the end decided to migrate to China to continue their legacy there! The Chinese truly built heaven on earth for their people 👏🏽 I love love China and I wish I lived there to enjoy such paradise. Thanks for the video 😊

Niu Shou Mountain has been a famous Buddhist mountain since ancient times. There were more than 30 temples from the Southern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty. Buddhism was prevalent during the Liang Dynasty in the Southern Dynasties, and the most concentrated place was Niu Shou Mountain, which was one of the three most famous temples in the Tang Dynasty. From the Liang Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, Niu Shou Mountain has always been a place where monks and sages gathered for more than a thousand years. It is said that Niu Shou Mountain is the winter palace of Manjusri Bodhisattva, who once led 10,000 Bodhisattvas to live here in winter. Emperor Daizong of Tang built a seven-story pagoda here because he "dreamed of a Pratyekabuddha from Niu Shou Mountain". The Southern Dynasty monk Pratyekabuddha "became a Buddha on the spot and became an immortal in heaven". The architecture of the Buddha's Crown Palace is based on the theme of offering, which symbolizes external and internal offerings. The large dome is 120 meters long and shaped like the Buddha's kasaya, covering the small dome of the underground palace, symbolizing the Buddha's infinite blessings. The small dome as a whole is like the Buddha's hair bun, and each one is in the shape of two hands clasped together, symbolizing the offerings to the Buddha by millions of believers. @@handaxia1251 That means you need to have more understanding of the word “Buddha” the word buddha signifies enlightened being. It has nothing to do with the physical body. Siddhratha Gautama was born in Lumbini, Nepal in his physical body. But he achieved enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, India hence we say that Buddha was born in Bodh Gaya. So Buddha was born in Bodh Gaya and Siddhartha Gautam was born in Nepal.

It appears to be something of a museum to history and to a particular aesthetic, but there is no chanting, meditating, offering of and listening to teachings about mental cultivation and the disciplines which lead to peace and insight. Like a tree with softwood and lots of beautiful leaves, but no heartwood, flowers or fruit. I sincerely hope that Buddhist practice returns to China, and that these glorious monuments may be filled with actual practitioners, not just superficial tourism.
