I lived in a condo, and I do not like association fees. I have seen in Palm Springs area, how much the HOA fees. They have some going from $800 to $1500 a month. I have a condo in Orange County, California it is a rental. The HOA fees are $310 a month with Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland nearby. Oh! and the beach just 15 to 20 minutes away. I have a friend who retired and sold his home in Whittier, Ca. and bought a home in Guadalajara, Mexico and the home is beautiful with a pool. He lives in a gated community with a nice golf course and the Greenery is beautiful in Guadalajara. I Love Puerto Vallarta, Mexico the beach is absolutely beautiful looking for a vacation home. I have some neighbors who have properties in Puerto Vallarta and rent them out as Air B&B's and make a killing. Thanks for the Info! Maybe I will look in Vegas and fly there from Los Angeles maybe 3 times a year.
