My guess is it hasn't changed much since! That's what we really like about it, though - still has that northern Ontario feel whereas the bigger places like Timmins and Sudbury feel more and more like you're in the GTA..

We lived in Chapleau 1980-1982. Been back once since then! My first born child was born at Chapleau hospital and delivered by Dr Young in 1982. Great memories of our time there!

Great video. I served as a priest in the Diocese of Moosonee from Timmins visiting Chapleau many times. This was in the mid-70's to early 90's. I really enjoyed your tour. I hope you do more small town Ontario videos.

We've seen a few on our trips up there but the wildlife seems to keep to themselves. However, we're always camping and don't stay in town so maybe it's different there..
