Acme has the best customer service of any tool store. A few months ago I bought a brand new saw stop table saw and I like 100 miles away from the Duluth store. They delivered it for free and they accidentally left a manual behind they brought it the next day no questions asked and apologized. My favorite part about acme is me and my grandfather use alot of special wood tools some over 50 years old and their parts guys will not stop looking until they find the right part or one that'll work it's awesome what they'll do for their customers.

Aren't these stores incredible?! I visited the Acme in Fargo ND. Wow! What a store. It was just a few days after I won a full Makita OPE set from a tool review I submitted to them. Bought the new Milwaukee rear handle saw while I was there, and the Makita model soon after. Could have spent a full week in there. Sadly had to get to work. But I'll make it a point to stop in their locations whenever I'm in the area. It's a must visit, bucket list kind of place for tool junkies like me. Two highly enthusiastic thumbs up!!

(Such as me in backwater rural Ohio. )So with you out there doing the legwork, we can make decisions based on your information, and buy the best tool. Yeah, that may end up being online, but it's a valuable bit of information before the purchase.

Thx for the vid Stan, very interesting & wish had an Acme Tool Store in my town.....would be a kid in candy store. Do like Acme Tools, when I order new tool; they get it out to me in about 3 days, & I’m in Florida 👍🏻 (sometimes it does take 4, it that’s still quick). The other great thing, I’ve never had 1 issue from them of packages arriving damaged. They do a great job at shipping stuff out & making sure they are packed tight & great within shipping box (it’s frustrating when a store ships a “tool” in the retail packaging that they just slapped a shipping label on...REALLY! Do they not know how carriers transport this stuff, not exactly “gentle”😅), Also appreciate the customer support/service from Acme. If something is wrong when you get your order, they WANT you to be happy & will make it so that you are. Great company to work with, & wish started working w/ them sooner; b/c think would have saved myself some headaches over the years....

I tried out the IQ dust-less concrete shop saw and it was AMAZING!! I work with cinder block and landscape block and usually use Stihl quick cut saw, but this was incredible. I cut capstones for a retaining wall for about 6 hours straight and no dust, or water needed, it all gets sucked into the pan under by its own downdraft. Just turn the filter knob every 20 mins (hour or more in my case) and it gathers all the super fine dust in the pan below.

ACME was my source of supplies when building my house in the early 90's. I visited the Grand Forks store (the original?) a couple of times because they had good prices on nails, etc. More recently to buy blades for my Fein Supercut. Great store! Thanks for posting.

The first demo was a huge fail, didn't even cut through the nail.

I agree. I thought it was supposed to go thru not slow down and wear the clutches out all while boring a gnarly massive hole around the nail lol

Lmao I agree totally! That Bosch Rep. was like "Come on you damn drill! You're embarrassing me!" He did bend it and did not drill through! I would say fail but we know now what not to buy lol!

Both nail “eater” bits went around the nail. Then the socket was a fail as well. Wrong size socket, not all the way on the anvil and spun the clip and probably ruined the oring. What a joke

Bosch drill clutch started making noise & the drill was pretty much stalling. But I can't afford that high dollar store anyways. I run Porter Cable new brushless edge series seeing how my company is a one man band, me.

I would love to try one of those 1”drive Milwaukee’s at work, we use Hilti cordless and Milwaukee corded, be burn through both monthly. I Also watched a coworker break the handle of the 4 lb Wilton hammer. Not sure if it was the same deal but it was labeled unbreakable. We also use metabo grinders, they are great. They hold Up the the abuse and constant use well. For decades

Metabo used to be a great German made tool, theyre now owned by an investment firm and recently(like a year or 2 ago, maybe more recent) aquired Hitachi. Hitachi has retooled everything for metabo. Everything I have that's metabo is at least a couple years old so I can't say how they are now but back when I was buying em, they were one of if not the best manufacturer's out. A.c. tech and machinist from Indiana now in washington

Metabo is the new Hitachi. I'm in the roofing industry and we only run Hitachi nail guns. Since the name changed to Metabo I really haven't noticed a change. That store is amazing! I had to pause the video a couple of times just to see what was on the shelf Haha😂 great video! 🤘👊

Was on the R&D of the STIHL GS461 ROCK BOSS concrete chainsaw chain developing & prototype. Fell in love with this machine, unlike other machines on the R&D plant.. if you're artistic enough, learn this machine well and appreciate it enough -- you'll be a master and a virtuous with this machine.
