Yes, it's doing so well in fact, Jay has announced he is opening up a 3rd location. (The 2nd one is in Worcester, MA currently). The 3rd will be in Taunton, MA. I'm sure I will be touring that one as well. ;-)

Awesome video. It's an excellent retro arcade, and Jay's a great guy too who personally collects arcade machines and who cares about the games. It has a large selection of classic games including several uncommon ones, in great condition too. The price of admission is very reasonable with all games on free play. Less than an hour away his is other location which also has a great selection of classic games. We're very lucky to have these arcades in the area now.

I'm heading to Providence tomorrow, and I'm super stoked! I just hope they still have Sunset Riders there - it's not listed on their website. I dropped so many quarters in that thing at my local roller skating rink in the early 2000s.

This place reminds me of Teddybear , Penny arcade in Boston,Ma and 1001 arcade in Cambridge,Ma. I been to the other spot in Worcester ,Ma. pretty cool less than 10 min from me. He mentions Rock Point Amusement Park. When I went to Paragon Park I never went on rides I told the group I'll be in the arcade.

I used to spend a lot of time at the Rocky Point arcade starting in 1980 until it closed. Ride footage of our 1984 home video was used in the documentary film "You must be this tall". I'd love to have visited Paragon Park. Some of the games I remember best at Rocky Point on my first trips were Gorf (a new game), Moon Cresta, Red Baron, Atari's Subs (very rare now), Star Castle, Armor Attack, Depth Charge & Space Firebird.

I got a free Operation Wolf. It did not work, but I only had to clean connectors and edge connectors. Then worked fine.

Wish there was one in NYC. Barcade cabinets aren’t as nice. These look newer & cleaner. I might have to make the 3 1/2 hour drive, but the hours start so late & limited, 5pm-2am? I’ll be driving as many hours, as it is open!! Lol!

Zero chance Doc would do that. He helps some of the other arcades in the Chicago area. He has such a good business, he wouldn't even bother worrying about another arcade. The place pretty much prints money.

It's sucks that Free Play is in a socialist state, and is still closed. My state went back to normal life 5 months ago. Just wish we had better arcades. So for the time being it's Mame for me.😏

Free Play Providence does not require you to show a vaccination card. It honestly felt like 2019 the night we were there. Things seemed to be back to normal.
