Lebanon seems to have had a lot of handy buses. I see what happened to 36, ouch. The fact that the rubrail was torn off kinda surprised me

Dang, we’re retiring 4 T3’s total, 2 2014’s and 2 2015’s. We just put one of our 2017’s as a spare, I bet we’ll keep it for at least 2 more years. We’re also keeping our 2014 Shorty T3 until next summer.

By them I ment those types of buses In general. Not the ones in the yard.

I noticed 70, 85, and 116 still have 22-23 inspection stickers on them. It doesn't look like parts were taken yet so could they still technically be used as in-service buses or would they have to get re-inspected?

Probably, however they won’t get used. I know they started taking things from 116.

It depends on when state patrol comes and inspects them. My district had about 3/4 of our buses inspected in early February, and the rest in late March, and the 5 that we traded in for our new ones were inspected and passed. I think it helps the value of them too if they're already inspected before being sold or traded in , especially if they go to a different district in the same state as it saves the new district from having to get them inspected- they can buy it and put it into service right away..

we also still have the majority of our '04's with the exception of 11 and 14. 11 was the one i rode and when it was taken from us it had 262k on the clock. here recently, we got BRAND NEW 2023 ce's and 11 was a part of that order. 14 was replaced with a 2017 (?) ce.
