My favourite film critic 🎉 found his space during Covid times and I generally don't watch reviews because they seem very vindictive and personal if they don't like the movie but here BR is one place I go to ,listening to his brilliant and intelligent views with a lot of respect towards the art and the people who have created the movies , his sheer excitement when he likes a movie ,shows in the interview he has with the director, it is refreshing to watch the interaction happen . I'm glad to see him get more recognition these days .

BRs first review on Leo was fine and his choice. But what created doubts was when he followed it up with multiple chat shows explaining why the movie "didn't work for him". Also, his interview of the producer was NOT like a cinema critique. He sounded like an Income Tax officer, asking source of the funding for Master!?! These things created suspicions that he was funded by some camp to disrupt the movie's business.

Big fan of BR, but he is confused on his position about PR person vs Critic, all jobs need ethics, PR person will be biased with a sole intent of promoting a product/service etc etc highlighting only the positives or exaggerating ordinary things as extraordinary, critic needs to be always unbiased to be fair irrespective of one’s personal choice/liking solely based on the merits/strengths/positives or the demerits/negatives/weaknesses of any thing review. So why you have to mix these too together. 13:53

I like his critic reviews and his view on movie. But sometimes I feel he wants more decoding types movie. People also want breezy light hearted movie as well. May be he should also appreciate that. Else directors will be forced to do layered movies.

Yes definitely BR statement perfect parthiban is leading character travelling full film but leo flash back and strength of the character is weak because Rolex character is very stylish and raw in vikram but leo is stronger than him but intro and look is usual Revealing parthiban is only leo in climax in one dialogue is very weak screenplay

As a general audience, I enjoyed LEO movie I am from Singapore and many Singapore crowd seemed to enjoyed the movie on big screen on that day. Even among my Indian colleagues everyone said that the movie was good.

Thx for responding. No is a pure Tamilian who was born and raised in TN. He studied in Chennai and he speaks excellent Tamil. If you have seen him speaking day today Tamil, you will know. My point is he is intentionally trying to be different while giving interviews. Possibly he will perform very well if he gets into acting career.
