Good day, I'm an incoming freshman student taking up BSTM course this year. About po sa SHS strand which is ABM, I graduated my grade 12 as a HUMANISTA and one of my interviewers told me during my college admission interview that BSTM is also related to social sciences and it's okay for HUMSS student to pursue BSTM sadyang may advantage lang pag ABM. yun lang, thank youuu❤️❤️❤️

Nasa 3rd year na ako ngayon ng IT, pero simula pa lang Tourism na napupusuan ko dahil na rin mahilig ako sa Geography. Advantage pa familiar ko na mga 193 na mga bansa ng UN at dalawang Observer States, at ibang dependent at partially recognize na bansa. Siguro kung magshi-shift ako mahihirapan lang ako sa mga math subjects pero pag bansa imememorize ko, yun na ang pinakamasayang gagawin ko.

Hello, some airlines have height req however there also some that as long as u can reach a certain level (example top of cabinet) u can be an FA. Yes and No. Yes, because if you work for an international airline, it will be the medium of communication. Of course, that is because the flight attendant for those airlines are composed of individuals having different nationalities. And also, you will be having customers from various parts of the world so it is a no brainer that you should be able to communicate using the universal language which is English. No, because if you work for a domestic airline, it will be with Filipino colleagues. Whether they may be from different parts of the country, the national language is Filipino, so it would be understood that everyone should know how to communicate in Filipino. With that being said, does it mean that I do not need to speak and understand English when applying for a Philippine - based airline? No. Imagine this, out of 100 applicants, you are the only 1 that can speak and understand English well, wouldn’t that be an advantage already? Also realize that even during domestic flights, we may have customers that are foreigners so it is still a necessity to be able to speak and understand the language. We offer a world class service that even domestic carriers can be compared to those from other countries and even are able to provide better service. That’s how competitive we are. Also, one important aspect it that flight attendants are trained for safety. And the medium during training is in English. If that is something that a trainee has difficulty in understanding, it would be difficult for them to pass. After all, that is the primary duty of flight attendants, safety. As of now, assess yourself as an aspirant, are you confident enough to speak and understand the language? If not, it’s okay! Because you have more than enough time to learn and improve.
