did get to play there about two weeks later. It's right next to an airstrip so no chance for drone footage, so it was tough to work it into the story. Awesome place that is a must play if you're in Queenstown!

5 hours is a bit generous...I'd say its 4 hours max by car from Auckland Airport, closer to 3:30 from the CBD. But there are several Air NZ flights daily that link Auckland and Kerikeri (KKE), which is about 30 mins from Kauri Cliffs.
