As a native Texan, I can tell you that Whataburger is definitely this state's signature burger place. And it didn't take long for other states in the Southwest and South Plains region to follow our example and bring spread this place to their areas as well. A lot of people have a debate going on as to whether Whataburger or In-And-Out Burger is superior. I've eaten at both places, and Whataburger wins every single time for me. And for me, personally, my go-to order at Whataburger is the Sweet n' Spicy Bacon Burger. First time I tried that thing, I absolutely fell in love with it, and I've gotten it ever since every single time I decide to eat there.

Whataburger has some amazing extra combinations that can be added to a burger but one must study the menu to know what to add. In-In-Out has a better regular hamburger but not nearly the size of a regular Whataburger. Thanks for sharing.

The only saving grace for in and out is lower price and "animal style"fries. 3 day old Whataburger fries are still tastier and crispier that innout fries.

I've tried mimicking their taste at home. I tell you it's the butter that gives it that good taste. Next time get some onion rings or a whataburger which I would say is the classic there. But other than their burgers you picked my favorites.

So me being a native Texan I love my Whataburger! But I will eat In-N-Out too! I just don't understand where the rivalry came from!🤷‍♂️ And you guys made the right choice with the Patty melt!😋 oh and the Texas toast make a sandwich with the chicken and dip it all in the gravy😋

I usually just have Whataburger with cheese sometimes double meat double cheese just super phenomenal yummy . But the patty melt , Mushroom swiss and Monterey Jack are super too . Getting verry ravenous now . Tried In-N-Out but to me didn't live up to all the hype . It was Ok but not great

Oh! I just came from your San Antonio video! 😅 I had recommended Fredericksburg for the German heritage but now that I know Julianna loves peaches, you've gotta try a trip during peach season!!
