I go over the three tournaments that took place at UKGE between May 31st and June 2nd, hosted by Limitlesstcg.

The day 1 winning boba is my list, you’re pretty spot on with the analysis. 1 additional use of snapshot is to buff a units health out of range of common threats (e.g. boba leader to 8, out of steadfast range). Change of heart did help me with 1 game against a boba-green (top 8) and 1 game in the semi-final boba yellow mirror.

I watched the stream everyday, and it was a bunch of fun. There was a lot of Boba Yellow, but enough spice to keep things interesting. A few really good Palps. Nice vid!

@@Simon-xk8ct this was organised play events on twitch, they do a lot of UK events. But it’s a good idea to check discords for live streams around big event weekends and larger showdowns!

At a blind store showdown would you rather take that Vader Green towards the end of the video or the blue Palp?

Tough call, they have a similar match up spread. I prefer Palp a bit more, but I've also worked on it a lot so I'm much more familiar with the strategy.

Definitely agree on palp into hard control. Besides, dropping a relentless and then a devastator next turn is just way more fun!

So I played all 3 days I played Vader Friday and Sunday and Leia Saturday! Han was 100 percent a problem on Saturday and really skewed the numbers . Really fun event though

the rogue operative is a better sneak attack target than Ezra letting you close out the game even if they drop a sentinel. This gives you 3 fleet, 3 k2 and 2 rogue operatives as your sneak attacks at end game.

From what I understand these were best of 1 for Swiss, right? And then were they best of 3 for Top 8 on the days with a cut? Would that affect what list you would take to the event? I saw a little of the stream the first day, but didn't see any of the cut, so not sure on the format.

In BO1 I would just avoid decks that have transformative side boards that completely change the way they function in a particular match up. Overall, I think most good BO3 decks are also good in BO1.

Ok before watching I’m going to say boba and Sabine yellow. They just make the most sense with the rise of the late game decks.

I think a lot of people realized once the hard control became a thing if you cannot get into your opponents hand at least a little you are in for a frustrating time as an aggro or even midrange deck. Maybe green boba shows back up right before set 2 drops to pick on boba yellow and Sabine.
